**London, UK** – A 40-year-old man, Issac Westcott, has been remanded in custody after pleading guilty to two burglaries at popular Camden music venues.
On October 14th, Westcott broke into The Camden Club and made off with a £178 smoke machine, £40 headphones, and a significant amount of alcohol, including ten bottles of spirits, ten bottles of wine, a bottle of champagne, and 20 bottles of beer, worth a total of £350. He also stole 180 boxes of vapes valued at £400.
Two days later, Westcott returned to the area and attempted to burglarize The Camden Assembly pub. While it’s not known if he was successful in taking anything on this occasion, his actions prompted police intervention.
Westcott, currently held at HMP Wormwood Scrubs, pleaded guilty to both burglaries at Highbury Corner Magistrates’ Court. He will be sentenced on Friday, September 13th.
The burglaries have caused concern among local businesses in Camden, highlighting the need for increased security measures to protect their property. Police are urging anyone with information to contact them.
