Fri Sep 13 08:47:58 UTC 2024: ## NASA Astronauts to Host Live Q&A from Space Station

**Houston, TX -** NASA astronauts Sunita Williams and Butch Wilmore will be hosting a live Q&A session from the International Space Station (ISS) on Friday, September 13th at 11:45 pm IST. The event will be broadcast on NASA+, the NASA app, and the agency’s website.

Williams and Wilmore are currently on an extended mission in space after their flight aboard Boeing’s Starliner spacecraft on June 5th. Their return was originally scheduled for mid-June, but technical issues with the spacecraft led to a delay.

The astronauts are now set to return to Earth in February 2025 aboard a SpaceX Dragon craft. This decision was made by NASA after concerns arose about the Starliner’s safety. The spacecraft returned safely to Earth on September 7th after an eight-month journey, but NASA opted to bring the astronauts home on a different vehicle.

Despite the setback, Starliner’s successful return marks a significant milestone for Boeing, marking its first crewed flight. The Q&A session will offer the public a unique opportunity to learn about the astronauts’ experiences during their extended stay in space, as well as hear about the challenges and triumphs of their mission.
