**SALMON ARM, BC -** A section of Highway 1 near Salmon Arm is currently closed in both directions due to utility work, according to Drive BC. The closure extends one kilometre west of Salmon Arm, between Tappen Beach Road and 65 Avenue NW.
Meanwhile, BC Hydro is reporting a power outage affecting 121 customers in the same area, caused by a car crash. A crew has been assigned to address the outage.
Motorists are advised to plan alternate routes and anticipate delays. Further information on the estimated time of reopening will be provided by Drive BC.
