**Los Angeles, CA** – The latest Nielsen streaming ratings reveal that “Prison Break” continues its reign as the most-watched streaming title for the second consecutive week, garnering an impressive 1.61 billion minutes of viewing.
“The Umbrella Academy” follows closely in second place with 1.39 billion minutes, while “The Union” (2024) takes third with 1.32 billion.
The highly anticipated premiere of “Emily in Paris” season 4, released on August 15th, saw a significant drop in viewership compared to its previous season. While the dramedy starring Lily Collins secured 792 million minutes of viewing in its premiere week, this figure represents a 43% decline from the 1.39 billion minutes recorded for the first week of season 3.
Despite the drop, “Emily in Paris” remains a popular choice, securing ninth place among original series and 19th overall.
Other notable entries on the streaming charts include “Fire Country” (1.21 billion), “Bluey” (996 million), and the return of “Game of Thrones” on Max (632 million).
The “Modern Family” revival on Hulu and Peacock also debuted on the charts with 687 million minutes watched.
It’s worth noting that Nielsen’s streaming ratings cover viewing on TV sets only, excluding minutes watched on computers and mobile devices. The data also represents only US audiences.
