**Emporia, KS** – Dr. Lauren Miller, D.O., a native of Emporia, has joined the primary care team at the Cotton O’Neil Emporia Clinic. Dr. Miller, an internal medicine physician, brings a focus on preventative care and chronic condition management to the clinic.
“I’m your teammate; we make decisions for your healthcare together,” Dr. Miller said, emphasizing her commitment to building strong patient relationships and collaborative care.
Dr. Miller’s passion for primary care was ignited during her childhood when her mother was diagnosed with breast cancer. This experience highlighted the crucial role that primary care physicians play in patient health and recovery, inspiring her to pursue a career in medicine.
Dr. Miller completed her undergraduate degree at Emporia State University, followed by her Doctorate of Osteopathic Medicine from A.T. Still University’s Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine. She then completed her residency in internal medicine at Freeman Health System in Joplin, Missouri.
