**New Delhi:** Congress National Spokesperson Pawan Khera has condemned the recent communal clashes in Karnataka, blaming the BJP for inciting violence during religious festivals. He alleged that the ruling party has a history of creating discord in society, citing incidents during Hanuman Jayanti, Rama Navami, and Muharram.

Khera also criticized Prime Minister Narendra Modi for his recent visit to Chief Justice of India DY Chandrachud’s residence, stating that the PM has a habit of visiting without invitations, citing his multiple visits to Pakistan as an example.

The Congress spokesperson further criticized Olympian PT Usha for her alleged insensitivity towards wrestler Vinesh Phogat, who claimed she received no support from the Olympic Association President. Khera stated that Usha’s actions were merely for appearances and designed to project an image of support during difficult times, while failing to deliver on any meaningful assistance.

Khera also condemned BJP leader Tarvinder Singh Marwah for threatening Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi, stating that he would face the same fate as his grandmother, Indira Gandhi. Khera accused Marwah of adopting a threatening tone after joining the BJP, questioning the ruling party’s ability to publicly threaten the LoP.

The Congress party has strongly condemned the recent events, highlighting what they see as the BJP’s divisive tactics and disregard for democratic principles.
