**New Delhi** – The popular Amazon Prime Video series “Mirzapur” may be getting a big-screen adaptation, with Bollywood star Hrithik Roshan reportedly in talks to play the iconic role of Kaleen Bhaiya, currently embodied by Pankaj Tripathi.
While the news has sent fans into a frenzy, the production company and director Gurmmeet Singh have not yet confirmed the casting. “There is no official announcement in this regard yet,” said Singh, adding that “things will be clear when an official statement is made.”
The potential movie adaptation of “Mirzapur” would see a new generation of characters, as Phoolchand ‘Munna’ Tripathi and Sharad Shukla will not return. However, Singh has confirmed that “new characters will be introduced in Mirzapur Season 4” which is currently in the scripting stage.
Hrithik Roshan, last seen in the box-office hit “Fighter,” has yet to comment on the rumor. Fans eagerly await official confirmation of this potential blockbuster.
