Megan Thee Stallion, the host of the 2024 MTV Video Music Awards, paid homage to pop icon Britney Spears with a daring recreation of the singer’s iconic “I’m a Slave 4 U” performance at the 2001 VMAs.
Donning a chartreuse bra, metallic booty shorts, and bedazzled boots, the “WAP” rapper appeared in the audience, draped in an albino python. As Spears’ hit song filled the arena, Megan, visibly nervous, confessed to the crowd, “I’m just playing! Come get this thing! I don’t know this thing; this thing don’t know me!”
A handler swiftly removed the snake, prompting Megan to let out a scream as she nervously paced the stage, later declaring, “I tried to hold it down for Britney!”
