**Coimbatore, India:** Ishan Kishan marked his return to First-Class cricket after over a year with a brilliant century, leading India C to a commanding 357/5 on the first day of their Duleep Trophy match against India B.

Kishan’s 111 (126b, 14×4, 3×6) was the cornerstone of India C’s innings, lifting them from a shaky 97/2 after the early dismissals of Rajat Patidar (40) and B Sai Sudharsan (43). The left-hander had already impressed with a century in Jharkhand’s Buchi Babu Invitational tournament, indicating his strong comeback.
