**Karachi, Pakistan -** The price of gold reached an all-time high in Pakistan’s domestic market today, surging by Rs 3,000 per tola (11.66 grams). According to the Federation of the Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, hallmark gold is currently being traded at Rs 156,300 per tola, up from Rs 153,300 on Thursday.

This significant increase comes amid a global trend of rising gold prices, driven by factors such as inflation, geopolitical uncertainty, and safe-haven demand.

The Federation also announced a price increase for silver, setting the price at Rs 1,860 per tola today, compared to Rs 1,795 on Thursday. This represents an increase of Rs 65 per tola.

The latest surge in precious metal prices is expected to have a significant impact on the Pakistani market, particularly on jewelry retailers and consumers.
