**St. Petersburg, FL** – Doreen Zak, a beloved resident of St. Petersburg, passed away on September 5, 2024, at Menorah Life after a brief illness. She was 92 years old.
Zak was born in Manchester, England, and is survived by her daughters Christine Cengel and Jackie Zak, son-in-law James Cengel, grandchildren Lindsay and Natalie, great-grandchildren Miles, Isaac, Nona, and Elliot, and numerous nieces and nephews in the UK and US. She was preceded in death by her parents, six sisters, a niece, and her husband, John (Jake) Zak.
As per her wishes, no funeral or memorial service will be held. Zak will be laid to rest at Calumet Park Cemetery in Merrillville, IN.
