**New Delhi:** Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal was released from Tihar Jail today after the Supreme Court granted him bail in the alleged excise policy corruption case.

Kejriwal’s release was met with celebrations by supporters of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) who gathered outside the jail amidst heavy rainfall.

Anita Singh, wife of AAP MP Sanjay Singh, expressed gratitude to the Supreme Court for the decision, stating, “It is very good news that our CM is coming out of jail today.”

Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren also extended his congratulations to Kejriwal on his release.

Supporters of the AAP erupted in celebration with fireworks outside Kejriwal’s residence, while traffic congestion was reported outside Tihar Jail due to the gathering of AAP workers.

Kejriwal’s supporters praised his work in education and job creation, highlighting the impact he has had on Indian politics.
