**KUANTAN, Sept 12** – The Sultan of Pahang, Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri’ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah, presented awards, medals, and honors to a range of recipients in celebration of his 65th birthday on Thursday. The ceremony took place at Balai Mahkota, Istana Abdulaziz.
The highest honor, the Darjah Kebesaran Al-Sultan Abdullah Pahang Yang Amat Di Mulia – Peringkat Pertama Sri Setia Al-Sultan Abdullah Ahmad Shah (SAAS), was bestowed upon the Sultan’s eldest sister, Tengku Puteri Seri Lela Wangsa Tengku Tan Sri Dr Meriam Al-Marhum Sultan Ahmad Shah, who also received the title Datuk Sri Setia.
Other notable recipients included:
