**Elizabethtown, KY (WDRB)** – Publix, the popular grocery chain, has announced plans to open a new location in Hardin County, Kentucky. The store will be located at the intersection of Pear Orchard Road and Ring Road in Elizabethtown.
This will be one of 12 new Publix locations in Kentucky, with other stores planned for Lexington, Owensboro, and northern Kentucky. While a timeline for the Hardin County store’s opening has not been determined, Publix already has one store open in Louisville and two more under construction.
Publix, known for its friendly customer service and wide selection of groceries, operates over 1,300 stores across eight states. The Louisville location is currently the largest employee-owned store in the U.S.
