**Guwahati, August 20, 2024:** In a bid to ease travel for candidates appearing for the Group III & IV examinations scheduled on September 15th, 2024, in Assam, the Northeast Frontier Railway (NFR) has announced the operation of 12 special examination trains.

The NFR has also extended the services of two pairs of regular trains to accommodate the expected surge in passengers.

**Special Trains:**

The 12 special trains will operate on various routes across Assam, connecting major cities and towns with examination centers. These trains will be operational from September 14th to 16th, 2024.

**Extended Train Services:**

The NFR has also extended the services of train no. 15703/15704 (New Jalpaiguri – Bongaigaon – New Jalpaiguri) Express to Kamakhya and train no. 05801/05802 (New Bongaigaon – Guwahati – New Bongaigaon) Passenger to Kokrajhar. These extended services will be operational from September 14th to 16th, 2024.

The NFR has released detailed timings and schedules for all the special and extended trains. Candidates can access this information on the NFR website and at various railway stations.
