**ANANTAPUR, INDIA** – Ishan Kishan’s blistering century propelled India-C to a commanding 357/5 on Day 1 of the Duleep Trophy’s second round against India-B at the Rural Development Trust stadium B-ground. This marks the first-ever first-class match played at this venue.
Kishan, who was initially not included in the India-C squad, made his presence felt with a stunning 111 (126b, 14×4, 3×6). He faced a barrage of short balls but showed remarkable composure and resilience, surviving two dropped catches in quick succession.
His innings were marked by powerful strokes, including a hooked six over a leaping Sai Kishore. He reached his century with a straight four and then unleashed a series of aggressive shots before eventually falling for 111.
