**KUALA LUMPUR:** Police have arrested a 45-year-old man from Sabah in connection with the robbery of a house in Kampung Pasir, Semenyih, which occurred in July. The suspect was apprehended in Lahad Datu on Wednesday, September 11th, and has been remanded for six days.
This latest arrest brings the total number of suspects detained in the case to six, including three policemen. The three officers, two from the General Operations Force (GOF) and one who surrendered to the Kajang police headquarters, were arrested in August. A civilian suspect was also apprehended earlier that month.
Selangor Police Chief Comm Datuk Hussein Omar Khan revealed that the newly arrested suspect has two previous criminal records. He made the announcement during a press conference following the Tribute to Tun Hanif event at the Royal Malaysia Police college on Thursday, September 12th.
