Mon Sep 09 14:47:14 UTC 2024: ## Former Warriors Duo Curry and Thompson Reunite, but Not on the Court
Golden State Warriors legends Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson, better known as the “Splash Brothers,” had a playful reunion at a WNBA game on Sunday. The pair, who once formed one of the most dominant backcourts in NBA history, were spotted together at the Las Vegas Aces vs. New York Liberty game.
Thompson, who signed with the Dallas Mavericks in the offseason, was accompanied by new teammate Dereck Lively II. Curry’s reaction to seeing the duo together? He playfully acted “creeped out,” much to the amusement of fans.
The two former teammates have been spending time together in New York over the past few days, even attending the US Open tennis tournament. While their time together on the court may be over, their shared history as championship-winning teammates will forever be etched in NBA lore.
Fans are now eagerly awaiting the day when Curry and Thompson face off against each other on the court during the 2024-25 NBA season. It will be a reunion that is sure to draw plenty of attention and excitement.
