**Guntur, Andhra Pradesh:** In a bizarre incident, a large crowd descended upon a dumping yard on Etukuru Road, stealing liquor bottles that were meant to be destroyed by the police. The incident, which was captured on video and has since gone viral, shows a chaotic scene with people scrambling to grab bottles as police officers shout in an attempt to control the situation.
The liquor, worth ₹50 lakh, had been seized during various raids and was being destroyed by the police. However, the crowd arrived unexpectedly, overwhelming the officers and stealing the bottles laid out for destruction.
Despite the chaos, the police did not resort to force to stop the looters. In some cases, they managed to get individuals to return the stolen bottles.
The police have launched an investigation into the incident to identify the people involved in the theft. No arrests have been made yet.
