**Nashville, TN** – The Vanderbilt Commodores (2-0) will travel to Atlanta this weekend for their first road game of the season, facing off against the Georgia State Panthers (1-1) at Center Parc Stadium on Saturday at 6 p.m. CT. The game will be broadcast on ESPN+.
Vanderbilt is looking to extend their winning streak and achieve a 3-0 start for the first time since 2017. This was Vanderbilt’s first shutout since 2019.
Georgia State, under first-year head coach Dell McGee, will be a tough opponent. McGee replaced Shawn Elliott, who moved on to become the tight ends coach at South Carolina. Center Parc Stadium, formerly Turner Field, was the Atlanta Braves’ home ballpark from 1997 to 2016.
