Southwestern’s soccer team clinched a 1-0 victory over Greensburg on the road in a tense match on Saturday, September 10th. The decisive goal came early in the first half, with Trent Todd scoring his fourth goal of the season just 13 minutes into the game.
The victory wasn’t easily earned, however. Greensburg put up a strong fight, keeping the pressure on throughout the match, especially in the later stages. Goalkeeper Michael Clements proved to be the hero for Southwestern, making a remarkable 14 saves to keep the Pirates at bay. His exceptional performance was critical in securing the win for the Spartans.
