Ryan Seacrest is set to make his debut as the new co-host of “Wheel of Fortune” alongside the iconic Vanna White. Seacrest’s arrival marks a new chapter for the beloved game show, though he assures viewers the format will remain unchanged.
“It’s the same show, the same sound effects, it’s all that same nostalgia,” Seacrest said. “It’s just me saying, ‘Good evening, here we go.'”
While Seacrest is a newcomer to the “Wheel of Fortune” family, White is quick to praise his professional demeanor and seamless integration into the show.
“He’s doing a great job. You really are. It’s seamless. You’re so professional,” White said.
Despite being a “newcomer,” Seacrest’s presence hasn’t gone unnoticed by “Live with Kelly and Mark” co-host Kelly Ripa, who joked about inviting him to White’s annual girl’s weekend.
“I always say the only guy I would invite to an all-girls weekend is Ryan,” Ripa said. “He is so fun. I mean, he will be going to bed at, like, 6 p.m. But the mornings start early, and they’re long, and it’s a lot of fun.”
