**Mumbai, India:** In a significant move to bolster its presence in the booming Indian market, global apparel manufacturer Delta Galil Industries has entered into a 50/50 joint venture with India’s leading retailer, Reliance Retail Ventures Limited. The strategic partnership aims to revolutionize the Indian apparel landscape by establishing an innovative platform dedicated to meeting the unique needs of Indian consumers.

Delta Galil, known for its expertise in intimate apparel, activewear, loungewear, and denim, will leverage this venture to introduce its renowned brands across retail, wholesale, and digital channels. The collaboration will also see Delta Galil support the joint venture in designing and manufacturing products for Reliance’s own established brands.

The joint venture will see an initial launch of Delta family lifestyle stores and the Athena brand for men’s and women’s intimates within the next 18 months. This partnership leverages the strengths of both companies – Reliance Retail’s unmatched domestic sales and distribution expertise coupled with Delta Galil’s deep industry knowledge and innovation capabilities. This collaboration is expected to significantly impact the growth of intimate apparel and activewear in the Indian market.
