Thrash metal legends Overkill have announced that fans will have to wait until 2026 for their next album.
In an interview with Moshpit Passion, vocalist Bobby “Blitz” Ellsworth revealed that the band is targeting the first half of 2025 for writing, with recording expected to conclude by the end of that year. This means the album is likely to drop in 2026.
While this news may be disappointing for those eager for new material, Ellsworth explained that the band wants to avoid releasing albums too frequently.
