Mon Sep 09 16:08:15 UTC 2024: ## Mirthwood, Medieval Life Sim RPG, Delayed to November 6th

**V Publishing and Bad Ridge Games have announced a delay for their highly anticipated medieval life simulation RPG, Mirthwood.** The game, originally slated for a September 11th release, will now launch on November 6th for PC via Steam.

The developers cited a need for further polish and optimization as the reason for the postponement. “We want Mirthwood to be the best it can be on day one,” said Daron Otis, Bad Ridge Games, in a press release. “We felt there were still key areas, like performance optimization, localization, and some of the systems, that need more attention before launch.”

The extra development time will allow the team to fine-tune gameplay, improve performance, and fully localize Mirthwood for players worldwide.

“Releasing a game that isn’t 100 percent ready isn’t something we want to do,” stated Michael Brown, CEO of V Publishing. “We’re committed to ensuring that when Mirthwood reaches players’ hands, it’s as polished as possible. The fans of the game are the most important thing, and making them happy is more of a priority than hitting a date, no matter what.”

The delay, while disappointing for eager fans, is likely to be welcomed by those who prioritize a polished and well-optimized gaming experience. Mirthwood’s release date is now set for November 6th, giving the developers ample time to address any remaining issues and deliver a game that lives up to the hype.
