Mon Sep 09 14:00:00 UTC 2024: ## MAX Power Mining Corp. Launches Natural Hydrogen Exploration in Saskatchewan
**VANCOUVER, British Columbia, September 9, 2024** – MAX Power Mining Corp. (CSE: MAXX; OTC: MAXXF; FRANKFURT: 89N) has officially begun exploration for natural hydrogen at its Rider Project in Saskatchewan, Canada. This project boasts the largest natural hydrogen land package in the country.
MAX Power has engaged Petro-Find Geochem Ltd. to conduct a comprehensive soil gas sampling program across key target areas. These areas feature numerous historical hydrogen showings identified in old wells.
Denis Brière, MAX Power Special Advisor and author of the world’s first NI-51-101 report for a naturally occurring hydrogen gas accumulation, remarked, “The Rider Project ranks among the top Natural Hydrogen projects globally. With a supportive policy framework in place, MAX Power has a prime opportunity to position Western Canada as a key player in the North American low-emission energy market.”
Neil McMillan, Senior Strategic Advisor to MAX Power and former Chairman of Cameco, added, “Saskatchewan has a rich resource history, and we are poised to make a significant impact on the global energy landscape with this natural hydrogen initiative.”
Petro-Find will collect soil samples spaced approximately 400 meters apart in this initial exploration phase. The results will be analyzed to identify anomalies, guiding further sampling programs to refine natural hydrogen targets.
MAX Power has also engaged Enki GeoSolutions of Montreal for natural hydrogen consulting services. CEO Stephan Séjourné, who previously served as Scientific Advisor to MAX Power, brings extensive experience in multi-disciplinary projects across various geological environments.
The company also announced the granting of 300,000 stock options to consultants, with an exercise price of 38 cents per share and a two-year expiry.
MAX Power is committed to leading the North American shift towards decarbonization. Their commitment to natural hydrogen is underscored by strategic alliances with Chapman Hydrogen & Petroleum Engineering Ltd. and Larin Engineering HHC. The company also holds a portfolio of critical mineral properties in the United States and Canada, including a recent diamond drilling discovery at the Willcox Playa Lithium Project in Arizona.
