**JONESBORO, AR** – The Kays Foundation has announced a significant $534,000 endowment to support future students of the College of Veterinary Medicine (CVM) at Arkansas State University. This generous gift will create the Kays Foundation Endowment for Veterinary Excellence.
“The Kays Foundation has been a longstanding supporter of A-State for over a century,” said Lucinda McDaniel, president of the Kays Foundation board. “One of our earliest gifts was a herd of registered cattle to support the animal husbandry courses at the then First District State Agricultural School.”
This new endowment signifies the Foundation’s ongoing commitment to supporting the education of future veterinarians at Arkansas State University. The funds will be used to enhance the CVM’s programs and provide valuable resources for students.
