Mon Sep 09 14:49:42 UTC 2024: ## John Mulaney Returns to Broadway in New Comedy Play “All In”

**New York, NY** – Comedian John Mulaney is set to make his return to Broadway this December, starring in the new comedy play “All In: Comedy About Love.” Written by former “Saturday Night Live” writer Simon Rich, the show is based on his short stories published in the New Yorker and promises a hilarious exploration of dating, heartbreak, marriage, and the joys of shared experiences.

“All In” features a rotating cast of comedic talent, including familiar faces from “SNL,” Broadway, and beyond. Mulaney will lead the cast for the first five weeks, joined by Fred Armisen, Renée Elise Goldsberry, Chloe Fineman, and Richard Kind. Additional casting will be announced at a later date.

Directed by Tony-winning director Alex Timbers, known for his work on “Moulin Rouge” and Mulaney’s previous comedy specials, “All In” promises a diverse and comedic experience. “Sometimes they will play pirates, sometimes they will play dogs, and there’s one where we make them talk in British accents,” the official release states. “But even though the show’s kind of all over the place, it’s meant to tell one simple story: that the most important part of life is who we share it with.”

“All In” begins performances on December 11th at the Hudson Theatre and will run for ten weeks. Mulaney, who previously starred alongside Nick Kroll in the Broadway play “Oh, Hello,” expressed his excitement about the project on Instagram, captioning a photo with Rich: “I am so goddamn happy to return to Broadway this winter with my favorite writer ever. I’ll be leading the cast for the first five weeks. Be there.”

The play is produced by “Saturday Night Live” creator Lorne Michaels in partnership with Seaview and New Yorker Studios. Tickets for “All In” are expected to go on sale soon.
