Retired NFL superstar Michael Vick is stepping into a new role as a sports correspondent in Prime Video’s upcoming three-part documentary, “Evolution of the Black Quarterback.” The series, premiering on September 24th, takes viewers on a journey across America with Vick as he explores the historical impact and ongoing influence of Black quarterbacks on and off the field.

The star-studded series features interviews with prominent Black quarterbacks, including Patrick Mahomes, Jalen Hurts, Cam Newton, Dak Prescott, Russell Wilson, Donovan McNabb, and Warren Moon. It also includes commentary from celebrities and other football stars, such as Common, Deion Sanders, Jamie Foxx, and Josh Allen.

The documentary’s release coincides with Dak Prescott’s record-breaking contract extension with the Dallas Cowboys, making him the highest-paid player in NFL history. The four-year, $240 million deal includes a whopping $231 million guaranteed, setting a new league record.

Cowboys owner Jerry Jones expressed his commitment to winning a championship, highlighting Prescott’s importance to the team. “I gave everything I ever had or hoped to have to get a chance to be a part of the Cowboys,” Jones said. “And it’s beyond my fondest dreams where we stand today.”
