**Bengaluru, India** – The Karnataka government has extended a warm welcome to the Singapore Business Federation (SBF) and pledged its full support in establishing an SBF office in Bengaluru. The announcement came during a meeting between Minister of Large & Medium Industries and Infrastructure Development, MB Patil, and a high-level SBF delegation led by Vice-Chairman Prasoon Mukherjee.

The SBF delegation expressed keen interest in creating a “Singapore in Bengaluru,” with the state government’s cooperation being crucial to their vision. Minister Patil assured the delegation that Karnataka would provide all necessary infrastructure, including land, water, power, and connectivity, to facilitate their investment. He further emphasized the state’s commitment to supporting SBF’s initiatives and stated, “We will stay in touch with SBF to facilitate their investment in the State.”

Minister Patil also extended an invitation to SBF entrepreneurs to participate in Karnataka’s flagship event, the ‘Global Investors Meet,’ scheduled for February 12-14, 2025. The meeting was also attended by LK Atheeq, Additional Chief Secretary to the Chief Minister; S Selvakumar, Principal Secretary; and Gunjan Krishna, Commissioner of the Department of Industries.
