**TALLAHASSEE, FL** – Florida State Seminoles football will be without starting running back Jaylin Lucas for the rest of the season after an injury sustained against Boston College. Lucas’ absence creates a significant hole in the offensive backfield, but the Seminoles are confident in their depth.

Head coach Mike Norvell announced that true freshman and Tallahassee native Micahi Danzy has been promoted from the scout team to the starting lineup. Danzy will now be the primary back for the Seminoles as they face Memphis (2-0) this Saturday at Doak Campbell Stadium.

The Seminoles (0-2) are hoping for a strong performance from Danzy as they look to bounce back from a disappointing start to the season. The game against Memphis kicks off at noon on Saturday, September 14th.
