Wed Sep 11 05:08:00 UTC 2024: ## iCreate Founder Announces Name Change to Kintyre Holdings, Reflecting Personal Journey and Expansion Plans

**Kingston, Jamaica** – In a surprising shift, iCreate Limited founder and CEO Tyrone Wilson has announced that the company will be changing its name to Kintyre Holdings (Jamaica) Limited, marking a significant evolution for the digital and creative group. The name change, originally proposed to be iCreate Group, was revealed in a notice to the Jamaica Stock Exchange (JSE) on Monday.

The decision to adopt the name Kintyre, a community in St. Andrew where Wilson grew up, reflects his personal journey and the values he holds dear. “It’s more than just a name; it’s a reflection of the journey from humble beginnings to expanding into new industries and creating lasting impact,” Wilson stated.

This move marks a strategic shift for iCreate, transitioning from a training company to a diversified investment holding company with a broader focus on real estate, food and beverage, fintech, and other sectors.

Kintyre Holdings (Ja) will encompass iCreate’s existing subsidiaries, including GetPaid, Visual Vibe, and Parallel Real Estate Ventures. The company is also in the process of acquiring a 20% stake in Sevens Ultra Lounge Restaurant.

Wilson has also appointed Nick Rowles-Davies as chairman of the newly created corporate governance and investment committees. Rowles-Davies, a seasoned legal finance and investment management professional, will spearhead the company’s expansion efforts, particularly in Dubai and the UK.

While Rowles-Davies’s past dismissal from Litigation Capital Management due to “breaches” is acknowledged, Wilson emphasizes his commitment to building a world-class diversified investment holding company.

The name change and strategic shift will require significant capital, with the company potentially needing up to US$50 million for its immediate plans. This expansion will require a substantial increase in share capital, potentially pushing the company beyond the JSE’s Junior Market threshold. Wilson has submitted a request to remain on the Junior Market, however, the status of that request remains unclear.

This move signals iCreate’s ambition to expand its reach beyond Jamaica and establish itself as a major player in the Caribbean and beyond. The company’s commitment to diversification and its focus on innovation promise to create exciting new opportunities for the future.
