**HAIKOU, Sept. 10 (Xinhua)** – The island province of Hainan, which was hit by Super Typhoon Yagi last Friday, has reported no outbreaks of infectious diseases, according to the provincial health commission.

Despite the damage caused by the typhoon, there has been no abnormal increase in cases of fever, diarrhea, or other illnesses in affected areas. No public health emergencies, including food poisoning or diseases of unknown origin, have been reported. Medical institutions throughout the province have resumed normal operations.

Hainan’s tourism, cultural, and sports services are also recovering rapidly. Over half of these services are now operational, and the province expects this figure to surpass 85% before the National Day holiday, which starts on October 1.

Typhoon Yagi, the 11th of the year, made landfall in Hainan on Friday, causing significant damage across the island. However, the province’s swift response and preparedness have ensured the safety and well-being of its residents.
