Mon Sep 09 14:17:50 UTC 2024: ## Illegal Immigrant Arrested for Impersonating American and Voting in Federal Elections

**Alabama, September 9, 2024** – The Biden Department of Justice (DOJ) has arrested Angelica Maria Francisco, a 42-year-old illegal immigrant from Guatemala, for impersonating an American citizen and voting in the 2016 and 2020 presidential elections. Francisco pleaded guilty to charges of “false claims of citizenship in connection with voting, false statements in application for a United States passport, use of a United States passport obtained by false statements, and aggravated identity theft.”

According to court documents, Francisco stole the identity of an American citizen in 2011 and used it to obtain a passport and register to vote. She used the passport to travel to and from Guatemala in 2012, 2015, and 2018.

This arrest comes amidst concerns from Republicans about non-citizens on state voter rolls, particularly as the 2024 election approaches. While Democrats dismiss these concerns, multiple findings have confirmed the presence of illegal immigrants registered to vote. The Heritage Foundation revealed over 11,000 illegal aliens on Virginia’s voter roll in the past decade, with at least 616 known non-citizens on the state’s registration system in recent years. Arizona also uncovered over 200 illegal immigrants on its voter rolls since 2021.

To combat this issue, House and Senate Republicans are pushing for the SAVE Act, which would protect federal elections from illegal immigrant voting. Billionaire Elon Musk has also voiced his concerns, warning that granting citizenship to all illegal immigrants would create a permanent one-party socialist state.

Since the Biden-Harris administration took office, over 10 million illegal aliens have entered the United States, with over 1.7 million undocumented immigrant “gotaways” recorded since 2021. This represents a significant increase compared to the 415,000 “gotaways” during the Trump administration in 2018, 2019, and 2020.

The arrest of Angelica Maria Francisco serves as a reminder of the ongoing concerns about voter fraud and the need for robust measures to ensure the integrity of elections.
