**Nashik, India:** Veteran television actor Vikas Sethi, best known for his roles in popular shows like “Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi” and “Kahiin To Hoga,” passed away on Sunday at the age of 48.

According to reports, Sethi died in his sleep due to a severe cardiac arrest.

The news was shared by celebrity photographer Viral Bhayani on his Instagram, sending shockwaves through the entertainment industry.

Sethi leaves behind his wife Jhanvi Sethi and their twin sons.

Tributes poured in from fellow actors and fans alike. Model-actor Navina Bole simply wrote “RIP” while television actors Hiten Tejwani and Suyyash Rai expressed their grief through emojis. Celebrity hairstylist Aalim Hakim wrote, “OMG… sad news.. May his soul rest in peace.”

Sethi’s career spanned over two decades, with prominent roles in several iconic television series. He was known for his portrayal of Swayam Shergill in “Kahiin To Hoga,” Prem Basu in “Kasautii Zindagii Kay,” and Ahir in “Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi.” He also had a small but memorable role in the Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol starrer film “Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham.”
