– Navdeep won a gold medal in men’s javelin throw at the Para Athletics Championships, after the initial winner was disqualified
– He was born preterm and it took his parents 2 years to realize his dwarfism
– Navdeep shifted to New Delhi to train with coach Naval Singh, influenced by Neeraj Chopra’s success
– He trained hard and qualified for the Tokyo Paralympics, finishing fourth
– Currently training under coach Sunil Tanwar, Navdeep recently won a bronze medal in world para championships
