
Sat Sep 07 00:00:00 UTC 2024: – The Columbia Shuswap Invasive Species Society is hosting a workshop in Tsútswecw Provincial Park on the impacts of wildfires on invasive plant species
– The event will take place on Sept. 26 in partnership with BC Parks and other land managers
– The day will include guest speakers from the Grasslands Conservation Council, a walking tour to observe invasive plant growth post-wildfire, and discussions on plant identification and management
– Participants are asked to meet at the main parking lot and information centre at 10 a.m. and the event is anticipated to finish at 2 p.m.
– The workshop is free to attend and lunch will be provided. Interested individuals can register online on the CSISS website.
