He has returned to cricket after a serious crash while filming Top Gear and has worked as an assistant coach with England’s white-ball sides. Flintoff will begin the job in October and will focus on developing the next generation of young players. He is currently working as an assistant coach with Brendon McCullum’s Test side. The ECB is thrilled to have Flintoff in this key role and believes he will help drive English cricket forward.
