– The Russian military unit 29155 was responsible for the cyberattacks and had targeted Estonia as well
– Three Russian officers were identified as suspects in the cyberattacks in Estonia
– The suspects are on the international wanted list and could be extradited to Estonia if they travel outside of Russia
– The cyberattacks posed a threat to Estonia’s national security
– The attacks were detected and prevented thanks to cooperation between Estonian security agencies
– The Ministry of Economic Affairs and Communications, Ministry of Social Affairs, and Ministry of Foreign Affairs were targeted in the cyberattacks, but no state secrets were accessed
