– Doctors warn that not getting enough sleep can lead to various health issues such as fatigue, stress, weight gain, diabetes, Alzheimer’s, and heart diseases
– Hori claims that his minimal sleep routine has boosted his work efficiency and focus
– He has trained his body to function normally with minimal sleep and never feels tired
– Hori established the Japan Short Sleepers Training Association in 2016 and has taught around 2,100 students to become ultra-short sleepers
– However, experts caution that sleep deprivation can lead to a variety of health problems such as mood disorders, memory problems, accidents, falls, injuries, depression, anxiety, weight gain, hypertension, and diseases like Alzheimer’s and diabetes
– While some people may naturally require less sleep, only 30 minutes a day is considered extreme and can have serious consequences in the long term.
