Draper will face a grand slam champion in the semi-final. Draper suffered a hamstring injury but was able to continue playing. He will make his debut in the world’s top 20. Draper’s coach advised him to take an aggressive approach to ease the pressure on his hamstring. Draper’s power seemed to break De Minaur’s spirit in the match. Andy Murray was the last Brit to reach the US Open semi-final in 2012.
