– Gill, a doctorate in Chemical Engineering from the University of Cambridge, will also succeed Dhillon as ‘Sant Satguru’
– Gill’s family has been associated with the sect for a long time and he has served in pharmaceutical companies like Cipla Limited
– Dhillon had succeeded his uncle Charan Singh as spiritual head in 1990
– The RSSB has a huge following both in India and abroad, with meetings held in over 90 countries worldwide.
