– He cleared 2.04m but failed at 2.08m as USA’s Roderick Townsend won gold
– Nishad also won a silver medal in the men’s high jump T47 category at the Tokyo Paralympics with a new Asian record of 2.06m
– He previously won a gold medal at the 2022 Asian Para Games in Hangzhou, China.
