– Kumar cleared 2.04m but failed at 2.08m, finishing second to USA’s Roderick Townsend who won gold
– Kumar claimed a silver medal in the same event at the Tokyo Paralympics with a new Asian record of 2.06m
– Townsend also won the Paralympic gold in 2021
– Kumar had previously won a gold medal in the men’s high jump T47 at the 2022 Asian Para Games in Hangzhou, China
