– Ghosh is also accused of corruption, including taking commission for admission and clearing procurements for the institute
– Ghosh was removed from RG Kar Hospital after the crime came to light, but was reinstated at Calcutta National Medical College and Hospital by the Mamata Banerjee government
– The CBI conducted a search operation at Ghosh’s residence in connection with corruption cases and he has been examined and given a polygraph test by the agency
