
The Jewish Film Institute has announced six projects that will receive a total of $80,000 in JFI Completion Grants, including the latest film from director Ondi Timoner. The nonprofit JFI has distributed over $400,000 in grants to filmmakers since 2020. The winning projects include films that focus on issues of co-existence, understanding, and empathy in diverse communities. The projects were selected by a jury from a pool of 92 applicants. The grants are made possible through the support of various foundations. The six winners include films from filmmakers such as Nicole Teeny, Amber Fares, Billy Shebar, Netalie Braun, and Marlene McCurtis.
