Nothing has released a new smartphone, the Phone (2a) Plus, with slightly upgraded specs for $399. The company has also launched a new “News Reporter” widget that summarizes news stories using AI and is read by the company’s CFO’s synthesized voice. The widget is available on Nothing and CMF smartphones and can be accessed through the Nothing X app on Android and iOS devices. The Phone (2a) Plus features a new processor and improved camera, but otherwise is similar to the Phone (2a) released earlier this year. The smartphone will go on sale on August 3 in London and August 7 in the US through a beta program.
