
Mon Jan 05 14:50:00 UTC 2026: The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) announced the results of the Secondary Teacher Eligibility Test (STET) 2025 on Monday. A total of 256,301 candidates passed the examination, including 104,167 women and 152,134 men.
BSEB Chairman Anand Kishore released the results, which are available on the board’s website, bsebstet.org, using individual user IDs and passwords. The computer-based test (CBT) was conducted from October 14 to November 16, 2025.
In Paper-1 (for classes 9-10), 246,415 candidates appeared, with a pass percentage of 62.56%. A total of 154,145 candidates passed this paper. For Paper-2 (classes 11-12), 195,799 candidates appeared, and 102,156 passed, resulting in a pass percentage of 52.17%. A total of 442,214 candidates appeared in both papers combined, achieving an overall pass percentage of 57.96%. The STET 2025 cut-off was set at 50% for the general category and lower percentages for reserved categories.
