Los Angeles, CA – Actors Walton Goggins and Jon Gries, known for their roles in the HBO hit series ‘The White Lotus,’ have reunited on the set of Amazon’s ‘Fallout.’ Goggins, starring as The Ghoul, shared his excitement about working with Gries, who plays a New California Republic soldier named Biff in the episode ‘The Profligate.’
“Jon is a very dear friend of mine,” Goggins said at the ‘Fallout’ Season 2 premiere. “Whenever you come across [actors from ‘The White Lotus’], it’s like family. And Jon just happened to be a friend of mine long before we did that, so it was so good to see him.”
Their connection dates back to ‘The White Lotus’ Season 3, where Goggins played a troubled traveler and Gries portrayed Gary (formerly Greg), a character connected to the death of Jennifer Coolidge’s character.
Goggins also offered insights into his character in ‘Fallout,’ stating, “The Ghoul really is the only loner here. He just wants to be with his family. But all of the other tribes, if you will, they’re just trying to [rebuild society] their way, and I think that’s just what happens in the world.” He further explained the dynamic of rebuilding society after a catastrophe, drawing parallels to the formation of different political affiliations and the struggle to reshape the world.
