PROVIDENCE, R.I. – The No. 1 UConn Huskies dominated the Providence Friars on Wednesday, securing a decisive 90-53 victory and extending their winning streak to an impressive 30 games. Azzi Fudd led the Huskies with 18 points, while freshman Sarah Strong contributed 17 as UConn showcased its depth and dominance.

Quinonez ultimately finished with 11 points.

Providence (8-7, 1-3) struggled mightily, shooting a dismal 26% from the field in the first half. While Sabou Gueye led the Friars with 12 points, the team’s 30 turnovers proved costly.
